This review is from: Sapphire Radeon R9 FURY X 4GB HBM PCI-E HDMI / TRIPLE DP
Pros: -Seems well built, feels high quality
-Extremely cool ~50C at load
-Spectacular gaming performance
Cons: -cable braiding isn't the sexiest
-space for radiator might be challenging in some cases
-mediocre overclocking currently
Other Thoughts: It is truly amazing that my PC is just as quiet under full load as it is at idle. The fans on my Fury X never seem to rise above 20%. It seems as though the coil/pump whine issues have been corrected on the newer batch because mine has none of these issues.
* I did notice a small "break in period" where the card was more noisy at first. After a few days of use, the silence of my PC while gaming heavily is unbelievable.
Pros: Everything about this monitor feels high quality.
-matte finish looks great
-IPS panel is very nice
-color accuracy is superb compared to my ASUS VG248QE
-price (140$ on sale)
Cons: There is very little to complain about.
-had to increase the brightness a bit
-human sensor seems pretty useless and strange (turned it off right away)
Other Thoughts: No real issues with this monitor at all. Very pleased with it overall.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -Performance is great, noticeable gain over my EVGA GTX 760 SC
-Runs ALL of my games with every setting cranked up to the max at 1080p 60+ fps
-Temp never got higher than 68C in valley
Cons: -Coil whine: When I first loaded up a game my heart sank. My GPU was screeching like a frenzied chupacabra. I read around on the EVGA forums and saw that running a demanding benchmark for a few hours could diminish the coil whine. This actually worked pretty well and the noise was at about 25% of what it was before. However, it was still noticeable (barely, pretty much had to be listening for it). I then saw that using V-SYNC could help and, sure enough, with it on the coil whine disappears entirely.
Other Thoughts: It was a little frustrating at first, but I was able to work around the noise issues. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the card. Next time, however, I will probably wait a little longer and read more reviews before choosing a GPU.READ FULL REVIEW
