Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - English (USA) Model MB110LL/B

5 out of 5 eggs solid keyboard 08/06/2012

This review is from: Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - English (USA) Model MB110LL/B

Pros: I've used dozens of keyboards and they felt flimsy/plastic-y. None of them compared to this one. I'm a fan of chicklet keyboards; it allows me to type faster and smoother, but I supposed that's very subjective given how polarized the reviews are.

As for aesthetics, you can't get more minimalist than this. I'm a fan of a lot of Logitech keyboards, but a lot of them seem to be unnecessarily bulky and not very streamlined. The aluminum gives it a very solid feel.

Cons: Edges of individual keys can be a pain to clean. The same can probably be said about any keyboard in the market, but given that the keys are white, stains and dirt is more noticeable.

Cable is too short, but I guess that's what the extension is for (duh!).

Also, not as much a con than a gripe, but I wish they made this keyboard into a wireless version. The current bluetooth Apple keyboard doesn't have the extra keys (arrows, num pad, etc) and I'm not a fan of that.

In either case, the cons aren't bad enough to reduce the rating; the functionality outweighs any cosmetic gripes.

Other Thoughts: The activation of the caps-lock key puzzled me for a few seconds, but any half-wit doing a google search for 10 seconds would be able to figure out why it seems like it's not working half the time.

1 out of 5 eggs Died after a week 06/13/2010

This review is from: Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro for PS3

Pros: built-in touchpad and responsive keys

Cons: feels very cheap, and doesn't seems WAY too expensive for what it is.

Most importantly, it died after a week.

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 8GB Flash Drive (USB 2.0 Portable) Model PEF8GUSB
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: I tested it using a 100mb file. It wrote to the drive in less than 6 seconds. I tested a cheaper 2GB stick and took 35 seconds. Huge difference. Read speed.. 3 seconds. Great buy.

Cons: None so far. I've only had it for a day.
