Pros: Quality photos, numerous presets, Lithium Battery.
Cons: Lens gave out after a year and the lens is not removable or repairable on these hybrids.
Canon covered the first replacement but after a month of use with the refurb the same, "Lens error, camera will restart." thing started happening again.
They would not cover the second repair and wanted to charge full price.
GUI and presets are sometimes confusing as well.
Other Thoughts: Had a Canon SX 30 a few years back sold the SX 30 looking to go the next step up...Sadly wish I still had the SX 30 around despite going through lots of double AA batteries.
There were less presets but the camera didn't need it with such great capture
If your a professional or semi-professional save yourself the embarrassment if you are on the field for a shoot.
This is the first time I've had a bad experience with Canon Cameras. Hopefully not a recurring trend.

Pros: Onboard soundcard?
Cons: "The car actually flew?"
"Look at this, made in japan no wonder it broke!"
"Doc all the best stuff is made in Japan."
Really it is because the level of technology has reached such heights that something as small as a bios chip can ruin the entire mobo.
Don't update your bios!
Both Newegg and AS Rock wouldn't cover it.
I really wanted to buy a new video card for christmas not a new motherboard.
I've had 486s last longer then this!
Pros: This will be the second Quadcore I've built last one built was in 2010.
You definitely have to use Windows 7 to take advantage of the x64 chipset and to get the most out of multi threading.
As an example in terms of processing power I can run Diablo 3, World of Tanks, and Counter Strike simultaneously without so much as a hickup.
Also AVG did a complete virus scan of both my 60 gig SSD and my 400 GB SATA HDD in less then 15 minutes.
(On first boot it was less then 10 before dumping stuff on the HDD)
Cons: Haven't found any but I am too scurred to attempt overclocking.
It is not my area of expertise and I do not think it is necessary for me.
Other Thoughts: Setup:
Rosewill Challenger Case
AS Rock EXTREME 970 3
ATI Radeon HD 6570 1 GB V-RAM
OCZ AGILITY 3 60 GB SSD
