Intuit Quickbooks Pro 2013

Pros: -Hard to deny that the software is powerful

-Support is pretty decent

Cons: -New version of Windows? You're probably incompatible again. When our company had upgraded it's computers from Windows XP to Windows Vista/7... guess what? Quickbooks didn't work. We had to buy all new licenses for every computer.

-There's a new non-backwards compatible version of Quickbooks every year

-Thus, you almost HAVE to buy all new licenses if you want to add a computer to your network after a year since a genuine copy is near impossible to obtain (and believe me I've tried).

-You've gotta shell out the big $$$ if you want to do anything advanced with Quickbooks via plug-ins. Some are well over $1000. Inventory management in particular is one that ruffles my feathers.

Other Thoughts: Honest to goodness, if we didn't have a monsterous database already, I'd be moving away from Quickbooks. I'm still considering it. It's just too expensive of a program for a small business to afford after a while.

Poor quality (DOA)

Other Thoughts: Purchased a Bgears power supply a bit over a year ago. Kept it in the box till just now for backup. Went to install it & it was dead. Brand new & dead! So, I check the warranty & it has a 2 year warranty. Yay, I'm good to go. I e-mail them & tell them that my new in box PSU is dead & it was within the warranty period. They say that they haven't made it in over 2 years & that must be wrong. I fax them my receipt & they tell me that the vendor I purchased it from wasn't an authorized dealer (Zip Zoom Fly). Supposedly, I'm supposed to go to their site before I buy something to verify it's on their authorized list. Does anyone else do this? I'd understand if I bought it on e bay or something, but bought it from a retailer. Anyhow, I mentioned my feelings on this & they just stopped responding.

So to sum up, their products are poor quality
&
Their support couldn't care less.

Other Thoughts: I actually bought one of their power supplies, but they no longer list them for sale here, so I'm putting my review here so that everyone knows what I put up with from Bgears.
