This review is from: Canon CanoScan LiDE110 2400 x 4800dpi 48bit USB Interface Flatbed Scanner
Pros: I've read reviews stating that the scanner is slow but my guess is that the individual should take a look at the PC they are running. I purchased this scanner for my mother a year ago for it's simplicity. My more expensive "high quality" scanner wouldn't work with Windows 8 so I "borrowed" it back for about 3 months to store old documents. It's very fast for a USB powered scanner (and even an AC powered scanner). Image quality is a tad above average and exceeds all other's I've tried in this price range. Great for archiving documents.
Cons: Not a great photo scanner if that is your primary purpose. If you are planning on scanning the family photo album dig a little deeper in the piggy bank. Occasional photos are fine and it does a good job for emailing pics or internet images.READ FULL REVIEW
