Pros: ran for 2 yrs 3 yr warrenty
Cons: Horrible return policy they will not send ups prepay to send back. And they want failed unit first. I can’t wait that long. Almost all other returns I had were sent to me first with a ups return. I’ve had allot over the yrs. building machines. I had to call 4 times to get an almost useless rma.
Other Thoughts: what can i say. electronics fail. in the computer industry its all about customer service. that should never fail.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: over 2 yrs. clocked @ 3.85 no issues. runs smooth. im not a gamer .But push it nonetheless, its my a/v system. 4 hd 3.8 terabytes. run aver card, watch tv, run my blackjack app, and go online, load apps, etc at the same time. .can watch 2 channels at same time. plus all of the above.. never had a stability issue even at 90% usage. It was a bargain @ 139. mobo msi dka790gx plat. 8 gig mem, 450 graphics, aver c027 card, lots of fans.i regret not putting a water cooler, but runs as high as 137F.
Cons: none so far. just one thing really not a con, for aver card to run you must disable C1e and quiet and cool its an amd issue. would not have figured it out if it wasn't for amd supportREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: installed without a hitch. loaded os and apps no problem. i had to replace a HD in my daughters HP pavilian dm4 after only 15 months. of course its out of warrenty. Thats why i build my own desktops 3 yr warrenty on most parts. so this drive looked appealing for price and tech. yes its faster than a typical platter drive. maybe 20 - 30%. faster. it does not compare to my i7 desktop with ocz ssd running at 4.6. but it runs smooth and fast. worth the $89 for sure. only time will tell how reliable it is.
Cons: none really. dont expect a drive as fast as a ssd. but do expect a fast drive as platter drives go.
Other Thoughts: like i said worth the priceREAD FULL REVIEW
