This review is from: Nero 2014 Platinum
Pros: I just picked up two of the Nero 2014 Platinum boxes this past week while they were on sale for $37. I had no issues. Install was fairly quick. No extraneous stuff was installed that people had mentioned before. And I had no problem playing back my BDs with full menu support on both of my PCs where I installed Nero 2014 Platinum.
Cons: The only con I've run into so far is the main menu where you choose which program you want to run. It only works in full screen mode so if you only use one monitor it could be an issue.
Other Thoughts: I haven't used Nero in several years. They have certainly improved things from before. It does more than ever and feels solid too. Everything I've tried on both my PCs has worked great so far. For $37 it was well worth it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very fast transfer rates over USB 3.0
Cons: removing a drive from the enclosure can be a little difficult until you get the hang of it since the drive is inserted and removed from the connector at an angle.
Other Thoughts: I got some of these to use with my XBOnes since they enabled external storage. I got two of the inexpensive, Crucial 480GB SSDs to put in them.
When I had the enclosures connected to my PC USB 3.0 ports, CrystalDiskMark gave me sequential read/write speeds of around 400MB/s(3200mb/s). Which was much faster than I expected from these external USB 3.0 enclosures.
With the XBOnes my load times have decreased tremendously. So it has been a good purchase so far. Only time will tell though if the enclosures last a long time.
