Pros: Through this in a refurbished laptop I bought, and that thing is blazing fast now! came with acronis software license which is really useful if you want to migrate a current installation to this drive without doing a clean install of windows (Though I suggest doing a clean install). Came with some sort of mounting bracket as well.
Cons: The drive doesn't come with a SATA cable, usually your mobo comes with that anyway though. not a problem in a laptop either.

Cons: My laptop won't let me set the RAM frequency in the BIOS :( it defaults to 1066MHz in my system.
Other Thoughts: Despite the frequency not being adjustable on my system, the extra capacity is useful and the timings are good too.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap, came with a core i5 560M processor, relatively clean install of windows 7, battery works fine for a couple of hours, came with a dedicated nvidia graphics card which I didn't see specified in the specs. Screen if fine for the most part.
Cons: The screen has been flickering at a really high frequency on the edges intermittently. I have only noticed it once, and it went away so its not really a deal-breaker.
Other Thoughts: I got this for 200 bucks and manged to get 8 gigs of ram and a 128 gig Crucial SSD on sale with it totaling about $350. Before the upgrade the system would stutter a little bit, but now it runs super smooth and I can even do light gaming on it!READ FULL REVIEW
