This review is from: PC Tools PC Tools Internet Security 2009 - Protects up to 3 PC's
Pros: i have used pctools antivirus free adition for yrs. and never had a problem so i bought pctools internet security 2009. it is a very good antivirus and has anti spyware , also gives protection against malicious activity, hijackers and much more .
Cons: the only problem i have is that for some reason i have trouble going online after i installed it , i had to keep trying for quite a while before i was finaly able to go online , it seemed like a conflict was going on so i tried several things until i found the problem , i shut down the fire wall part of the program and re-inabled the windows fire wall and suddenly i was able to go online whenever i wanted , not sure why the built in fire wall on this program would do this becouse windows firewall was turned off , but no worries just if you buy this program and have the same problem just turn off the firewall and go to your controll panel and turn windows fire wall back on . your computer will still be protected 100% you will just be using windows firewall instead of the one in pctools .
Other Thoughts: they should really work on this problem , other than that every thing else is great .READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Linkworld LPG8-43-P4-IO 630W ATX12V Power Supply
Pros: NONE !
Cons: bought this pwr sup. for a build i was doing , it was shiped on time , i installed it and it worked for about 5 min. then there was a loud pop and that was it . at first i did not know if it was the mobo or the PS so i dug up an old PS to see if i could get the sys to boot and it did but the power suply was only 350 watts , not enough to run the system becouse after windows booted up it shut back down , so if you want a dependable pwr supply DON'T buy this one , i know i never will again .
Other Thoughts: the only sad part is when i RMA this thing i will have to get the same power supply all over again i just hope it at least will last longer .READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Foxconn G31MV-K LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: arrived ontime
Cons: when i removed the cap from the cpu socket i noticed that instead of the usual socket i am used to i see pins just like on the bottom of my cpu , there was no way to insert my cpu and lock it down without bending every pin on the cpu and the one's on the socket , i never have seen this before , i have built other systems before even ones with intel duo core and never had this problem the gigabyte mobo that i used was not like this one , i am not sure why there are pins instead of holes to insert the cpu and foxconn is of no help they just keep repeating the page to go to and see the supported cpu's , my cpu is supported but is not compatible becouse it also has pins just like the socket.
Other Thoughts: i will never buy or wast any more of my money on this brand nor will i wast my time on another one.READ FULL REVIEW
