MSI GT Series GT60 DominatorPro 3K-475 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 4800MQ (2.70GHz) 16GB Memory 1TB HDD 128GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M 8GB 15.6

Pros: Great looking rig, really "gamer" oriented style/design, the screen is really awesome i.e. having 2880x1620 is really easy on the eyes!

Cons: I actually had to return the first laptop due to a funky screen issue so that initially concerned me with quality.

Second issue I noticed after playing a few different game... i.e. Skyrim among others. Firstly I didnot mention there was a shared mem integrated video card in there (Not sure if all new laptops are set up this way now by my 3 year old laptop had direct access tot he video card and but seem to run skyrim similarly... I expected this new one to really rock)

I also experienced this on other games both older gen and new/current gen.... I would expect this laptop to rock them nicely with high FPS. Seems like all the games only detect the integrated video card. While looking on line for a solution i found that you can set the NVidia card to be primary through the NVidia control panel but all the games still use the integrated card. I even ran the games directly with the context menu option (Run with graphics processor -> highend...) but all the games still only seem to detect the integrated video card... For the 2300 bucks I paid for this machine, I expected more performance. I wish the specification mentioned there was a primary integrated / shared memory video card on this laptop. I probably would not have bought it then. Disappointed unless I can figure out how to directly use the Nvidia card and get my game frame rates up... its advertised as a gaming rid therefor I expect it to act as one with out having to jump through a ton of hoops to get good performance

Other Thoughts: I will redact this review if someone can tell me how to bypass the integrated video card. From all the complaints i have seen on line (google "msi integrated graphics laptop" and you'll get tone of people having this same issue with solutions that don't really seem to help)
