This review is from: ASUS RT-AC52U Great-Value Dual-Band AC750 Wireless Router
Pros: The speed seems to be on point after tweaking, and finding the right channel.
Cons: If you don't know how set up a router and tweak the settings, take a pass on this one. Auto frequency is a disaster and you have to find a good one that works for you.
Main issue is the very high pitched sound coming from the WIFI. Our computers are connected directly but the moment we start to stream HD netflix we get a whine from the router. Considering it's set up next to my computer, I'm about to sell it and spend more money on a better one.
Pros: Pretty simple review since it just works. I was able to get everything connected easily, and it's worked wonderful for the past 6 months I've had it. Has not dropped a connection once in almost 6 months.
Cons: None thus far. The 5GHZ signal is a bit weak, but I think that's more my house with very thick walls. Apparently 5GHZ does not like going through walls.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not much...the price I guess, but you get what you pay for
Cons: While it was working, the key lay out was never very good. I liked the volume wheel...that's about it. The backspace key is too small, and had lots of mistypes even after using it for a month.
It completely stopped working after a month. First a key would get stuck occasionally, then any key press would result in windows shutting down or going to sleep. Same issue on multiple computers. GigaByte support was sup-par. Wanted me to pay to ship them my broken board, then pay for them to ship me a new one back.
Yep, never going to happen. I used to be a die hard Gigabyte fan but the past few years I've had nothing but problems with every single piece of hardware from them.
Other Thoughts: Hate to say it, but just don't buy from them anymore. The video cards, the main boards...hell, they can't even build a keyboard that works.READ FULL REVIEW
