Pros: Ok, so yes I had two bad reviews before. They were legitimate problems that I had. I was about to give up on EVGA. But called their support line again and they RMA'd me a third card and this one works beautifully. In the end it turned out that it was NOT my system but just pure bad luck that I received two faulty cards in a row, but hey, it is great to see all my games in high detail with fast rendering, large scale, and smooth edges. Thanks EVGA for standing behind your product and I really hope this third card works trouble free for the rest of its life.
*Most games able to play on High or Maximum with great FPS
*Clear detail in full 1080p HD
*Support for dual monitors
*Compact size with a good on-board cooling fan. Fits in my mid-tower easily.
Cons: *Hoping for zero from here on out :)
Other Thoughts: *The HDMI out is a mini HDMI port, so be sure to have the right cable if you want to hook up to your HD flatscreen for things like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
*If you call EVGA's support line, keep in mind that some technicians are more eager to help than others. If you get one who doesn't really seem motivated in helping you, simply thank them for their time, hang up, and dial again. It was a world of difference on how I was treated and how quickly my problems were resolved.
Pros: Great graphics when the card worked
Cons: This is my second card since I RMA'd the first one for both the NVIDIA driver crash problem and a broken fan blade. If you are not familiar with the NVIDIA Driver Crash problem, a simple search will point you to thousands of people who have endured the problem with little or no resolution. Anyway, I received the second one and it still has the driver crash problem. Per EVGA's and NVIDIA's recommendations, I've reinstalled windows 7, updated AND rolled back driver versions, and even took it to a computer expert (at my expense). Nothing has solved the problem. After searching the internet, it is apparent this is a serious problem with a high percentage of NVIDIA chipset cards and has not been addressed outright by either NVIDIA or the companies that use their technology. I am going to RMA and hope for a refund (yeah right, no one really stands by their products in the tech world anymore beyond a couple months). At this point, I'm going to write this off as a loss and switch to the other video card chipset. When you can't deliver a product that works nor provide a comprehensive solution, then sorry, you fail twice as a company and I will take my hard-earned money elsewhere. I'm not easily ruffled, but this card has been nothing but a headache for the past several months.
Other Thoughts: Avoid this card unless you want to risk reformatting your drive and reinstalling Windows for nothing.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast graphics rendering, easy to install, compact design for such a powerful card
Cons: Quality of construction may be suspect
Other Thoughts: I bought this card and up until the other day it was perfect. I woke up, turned on my computer like always, but this time there was a horrible vibration shaking the entire computer case. After turning off the computer, a quick visual inspection revealed a fan blade had come off! In my 25+ years of using computers, I've never had that happen to ANY fan on ANY device. Really unnerving that this happened within only several months. So now I've submitted an RMA through EVGA to get it replaced under warranty. Depending on how that goes, I will re-review accordingly and increase eggs if it goes smoothly.READ FULL REVIEW
