Pros: Awesome processor, does whatever I need it to, or it did.
Cons: About a month ago, windows lost the ability to tell what kind of processor it is, and throttled it back to 800mhz. I've tried everything to get it back up to speed, but the multiplier is frozen at x4, instead of being at x15 like it should be. I even tried overclocking it using overdrive, but nothing works. AMD, if you could please give me some advice.
Other Thoughts: By now the AMD FX 8 is availible and cheap enough to bypass this oneREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SYBA USB 3.0 PCI-e Card with HDD Power Connector (3 + 1 Ports) Model SD-PEX20080
Pros: It does what I need it to, and that is to drive my terabyte external hard drive with the speed and efficiency of a usb 3.0 device. no need for drivers, just a 4-pin molex connector.
Cons: Only complaint is that it is in the way of me getting a bigger vga card, but that is the fault of the mother board and not the card.
Other Thoughts: If you're having trouble with this card, make sure it wasn't damaged during shipping, make sure that all four molex pins are properly making contact, and always use anti static gear when handling exposed pcb boards.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: HIS HMVS-MAC-PC External Video Card Multi-View + Sound Adapter
Pros: Nice, sleek, easy installation, good price for such a high maximum resolution.
Cons: Unfortunately, When I got the device properly installed, and hooked up my 26" 1080p Visio tv via hdmi, the device recognized it, connected, created screen space, and did everything it advertised, except, it only displays a red screen. It doesn't matter what settings I change on the tv, or in the settings, it only ever displays red. I can move my mouse into the space, but it doesn't do me any good as I can't see anything on screen. I would try to update the driver, but there aren't any available on HIS's site. Any help the manufacturer or any other users can give would be appreciated.
Other Thoughts: It also didn't work with my 24" dvi Acer monitor, but that's not the one I'm trying to hook up.READ FULL REVIEW
