This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-637AP Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader 802.11b/g/n and 802.11e up to 300 Mbps
Pros: Inexpensive. Not too hard to set up, although the admin password thing was misleading between the quickstart and the manual (the quickstart was wrong.) Firmware update was simple. Easy to set up multiple SSIDs. Connections seem fine - nothing dropped that I've noticed.
Cons: I was hoping it would provide better coverage than my FIOS wireless router. But neither one can reach my wireless-n TV less than 50 feet away. Works fine for everything else, so it must be my TV or some interference in the house. Bummer. A waste of money but I knew that was a possible outcome of this test.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: elgato 10020840 Video Capture for Mac, PC, iPod and iPhone
Pros: Until the Video Capture s/w can be made to work for me, there's nothing positive to say.
Cons: The Video Capture s/w causes my Win7 Ulltimate desktop to hang hard about 3 seconds after starting it up.I am working with Elgato customer support now on it but they are SLOW to respond (days between responses) and their 2 attempts to assist so far have not been successful. Latest drivers were a pain to get installed - had an undocumented requirement on MSXML 4.0. Uninstall did not seem to remove everything that was installed. I think this will have to be returned to NewEgg.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corsair 64GB Voyager Slider USB 3.0 Flash Drive (CMFSL3B-64GB)
Pros: It worked fine
Cons: Connection to USB port was not solid. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to be recognized.
Other Thoughts: My desktop does not have a USB 3.0 port so I can't rate that capability.READ FULL REVIEW
