This review is from: elgato Video Capture for Mac, PC, iPod and iPhone 10020840 USB 2.0 Interface
Pros: Until the Video Capture s/w can be made to work for me, there's nothing positive to say.
Cons: The Video Capture s/w causes my Win7 Ulltimate desktop to hang hard about 3 seconds after starting it up.I am working with Elgato customer support now on it but they are SLOW to respond (days between responses) and their 2 attempts to assist so far have not been successful. Latest drivers were a pain to get installed - had an undocumented requirement on MSXML 4.0. Uninstall did not seem to remove everything that was installed. I think this will have to be returned to NewEgg.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Voyager Slider 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFSL3B-64GB
Pros: It worked fine
Cons: Connection to USB port was not solid. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to be recognized.
Other Thoughts: My desktop does not have a USB 3.0 port so I can't rate that capability.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Looks good, nice and light, simple, does what it's supposed to do. Price was quite reasonable.
Cons: - Didn't work well at all with my motherboard's built-in GeForce 6150 graphics chip, even with latest Nvidia drivers and latest Acer eDisplay Mgmt app - all washed out, no contrast. I had to purchase and install a low-end graphics card before it then looked really good.
- Adjustment buttons are poorly located and hard to use but shouldn't be needed that often so I guess it's not that big a deal.
Other Thoughts: - I really don't need wide-screen and 1900 x 1080 since I don't do games or movies. I upgraded to this from a 21" CRT which died after 14 years. What I really need is 4x3 at 1600 x 1280 or higher. But such resolutions simply aren't found at rational prices in LCD monitors.
- Have not used the built-in speakers
