Pros: Bought three of these for myself and family members as introductions to tablets. Realized there would probably be issues with them since they were only $60. Have been pleasantly surprised at the performance and build of these things. Was expecting some slow or balky performance issues, but none have materialized. Display is bright and crisp and unit has never failed to load or run any apps I have attempted to download. Battery can get a little toasty but so far has not caused any problems. Was using as a reader last night and used Kill App to shut down unused apps. Read for about two hours and the area over the battery was barely warm. Having a lot of fun with it so far. For $60 it is an outstanding value. For $100 I would suggest you survey the marketplace to see what else is available. I doubt that you will find many (or any) tablets with better specs and at $100 it still represents good value. I would feel pretty good endorsing it at either price.
Cons: Cameras are not great, but I didn’t buy it for the cameras.
Other Thoughts: May want to get a better tablet at some point in the future, but this one will be fine for a while and will allow me to identify the features that are most important to me when I go shopping again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Average performance.
Cons: Started acting a little flakey after 3 months. Got SMART error after 4 months. Had to run out and buy a new hard drive to transfer data to.
Other Thoughts: Only drive available to purchase locally was a 500GB Western Digital. Swore I'd never buy another WD drive after having experienced three previous failures of their drives. Had to bite the bullet and do it because I didn't know how long I would have before a complete failure of the Seagate. Got the data transferred to the WD in a couple of hours then got an RMA from Seagate. Seagate was very prompt and replaced my drive with a rebuilt one. It shouldn't have happened though. I'm out a couple of hours of time and $65 for the WD I shouldn't have had to spend.READ FULL REVIEW
