FirePower OCZ-ZT650W ZT Series 650W 80Plus Bronze Fully-Modular High Performance ATX PC Power Supply - Formerly PC Power & Cooling
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: For ~7 months, this unit worked fine in my custom gaming rig. As it was my first rig, I might be biased, but this power units did every thing that it needed to do, except for having a long life.

Cons: As the title states, this unit was dead with 7 months. As I am not an expert with computer hardware, I had to take my rig to a local computer shop for a diagnostic to confirm that the power unit was dead.

I had origionaly compilied this rig with the expectation of overclocking in the future on an as needed basis. With an i5-3570k, GA-Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard, multiple fans, and a 650 Watt power supply, I thought that I had a setup that would have lasted a couple years at least.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this, it had a nice rebate attached. Guess I get what I paid for.
