Pros: New installation, runs Win7, NO PROBLEMS ! Has been running for a year with (did I mention?) NO PROBLEMS !
( I love that part )

Cons: I half expected the prices to come down more by now.
Still waiting.

Other Thoughts: Intel DH67CL mobo, Intel i7-2600 proc.8g ram.
P.S.- Running a second SSD from Crucial (256g)
booting Win XP, again, no problems.

Vantec NexStar SE MRK-525ST Dual 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: works well, makes swapping 2.5" drives easy.

Cons: Clips are a bit stiff, hard to work with my large fingers. The power connector seems weak. a drive which requires more current was flakey, gave errors and froze. The same drive works ok when directly connected to the power supply.

Other Thoughts: If you often switch OS's, (XP, 7, Linux) this works better than switching in bios. Just pop in the disk with the OS you want to use.
