SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X DirectX 12 100361-8GL 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Tri-X OC(UEFI) Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: the obvious specs of the card

Cons: I've yet to see a game actually detect the card has 8GB of memory. Every game I've ran and even some benchmarking softwares only detect 4GB of usable memory. Had I known it would perform this way, I would've gone for a different card.

1 out of 5 eggs Never Even Got to Use It 05/06/2014

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Gaming Desktop AMD Configurator

Pros: Customizable and competitive in cost to building it myself

Built it and wired it for me.

Cons: DOA
Arrived upside down (fragile arrows saying which side to keep up were pointing downward~_~)

Turns on but doesn't produce video output from either onboard or PCIe card included

Other Thoughts: Tried to email the manufacturers tech support because you have to sign a waver absolving Newegg of responsibility and haven't heard back yet. I've heard horror stories from Cyberpowers customer service that I've yet to experience. I'm hoping it's not as bad as I've heard

GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Played most games at max with 35+ fps

Cons: Died after 9 months.

Other Thoughts: In the middle of a game I got a BSOD and it wouldn't output anymore. I tested it in other computers and everything. The fans would spin so it was getting power, the GPU just didn't seem to be outputting anything.
