Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook- Intel Core i7 8GB RAM 256GB SSD 14
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Decent processor, 8GB of ram, 256GB SSD, great battery life as well as super fast charging speed.

Cons: Only has a 265GB SSD, Windows will probably take up 16-25GB of that. No discrete GPU, only integrated (heat!). The screen is only 14in and isn't even 1080p (its 900p), there's no optical drive (bye bye DVDs), the battery is NOT replaceable, and is integrated, so once the battery is dead, you've got a $1,500 brick.

Other Thoughts: Frankly, I don't own this laptop. However, according to the specifications, as a consumer, you can do a LOT better with $1,500. This laptop is NOT worth that much money. You could custom build an AMAZING desktop for that much. You could also get a much better laptop with that kind of cash. I have no idea why this laptop's price is so high. I'd pay more like $300-450 for specs that bad.

Cooler Master HAF 922 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and All-Black Interior
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: VERY good air flow, cool temps even at high load, sturdy construction, spacious, and customizable, huge gpus will fit in this case, and it's set up for water cooling from the get go, many options for cable routing and management. With a glass window, some LED's, and a water cooler for the cpu like an H100i, this case looks gorgeous.

Cons: Attracts a lot of dust, there doesn't seem to be any filters, the red LED fan the case comes with is very dim, the metal mesh on the top of the case is a little flimsy, the water cooling grommets on the back of the case tend to fall inside if they're pushed, and they're REALLY annoying to get back out. The case is rather heavy and pretty big/bulky for a mid-tower case, it was very difficult trying to install a cpu cooler because the cut out for the back of the mobo was somewhat small and finally, I can't seem to charge USB devices using the ports on the front.

Other Thoughts: For $100 this case was a steal, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It had a few cons, yes, but I've had the case for 2 going on 3 years now. I wouldn't expect it to be perfect.

XFX Double D Black Edition FX-795A-TDBC Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: This card runs every game I throw at it without missing a step. Beautifully designed and pretty quiet too, my case fans are louder. Other than occasional driver update issues it's never given me a problem. Runs like a dream.

Cons: Didn't receive the promised games after my purchase, not really a big deal though since I bought them all later anyways.
