This review is from: Changhong 50" 1080p LED HDTV - LED50YC2000UA
Pros: I was on the fence with this set for a while. The price, Changhong etc etc. Gotta' admit, I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. For $399. this thing is killer! Awesome picture ( no dead pixels) with enough adjustment flexibility and the speakers ain't THAT bad although I am using surround sound.
So far I've watched HD cable, blu-ray and my PC all through HDMI and it's been flawless. No ghosting etc.
Cons: Price considered NONE!
Other Thoughts: Again: AT THIS PRICE POINT you can't beat it! I'd buy another one tomorrow or recommend one to a friend. While the picture doesn't compare to my beloved Panasonic 55" plasma it's still a great TV!
My only other concern is it's lifespan but Changhong's supposed be a pretty good brand in other parts of the planet. China's come a long way. Time will tell!
This review is from: Samsung 3D Wi-Fi Blu-Ray Disc Player
Pros: Easy to setup and use. Excellent picture. 3D is incredible. Finally get to stream 3D from Netflix. Pandora is nice to have too. Big, BIG jump in picture quality from my old dvd's to blu-ray!
Cons: Web browser is clumsy & reminds me of the 56K days. Usable but aggravating!
Other Thoughts: For $89.99 ya can't beat it but eggsaver shipping is not the way to go if you want it right away. It took a week and a half to get to me from a location one hour away by car! ( NJ to NY). Go figure....READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: D-Link Xtreme N Dual-Band Gigabit Router (DIR-825) Wireless N600
Pros: Looks nice and the price was ok. Got it on sale. Somewhat easy to install if you're a noob. The cd is good for beginners.
Cons: Horrible signal coverage. Constant signal loss and droppage.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my trusty old Linksys WTR54 thinking it was time for an upgrade to wireless n with dual band. Boy was I wrong. The signal coverage in my modest little home was laughable. When it did work it kept dropping off after a short while. This ain't my first wireless rodeo either. Steer clear, especially if this is your first wireless experience. My WTR54 was better.READ FULL REVIEW
