This review is from: Corsair Obsidian Series 650D (CC650DW-1) Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Case
Pros: High quality craftsmanship. SATA dock and awesome looks.
Cons: Need an adapter for a USB 3.0 motherboard header. No big deal though.
Other Thoughts: Have owned this case since May 2012 and love it!!! Just purchased a second one for a new build. I wish George over at Corsair, who designed this case, would just update it and keep it around. Also, making a full size version would be awesome too. However, this case will be EOLed by the end of the year. Love the old Obsidian looks, but not the new ones.
You will not be disappointed if you buy this. 5 eggs. ALSO, thanks Newegg, this case shipped out Monday and arrived on Wednesday...FOR FREE!!! No shipping cost. Thanks Newegg!!!!
This review is from: SOCOM 4
Pros: It's third person!!! I like having two teams to control. They have an easy option and don't start the game on a difficult level.
Cons: It sucks. It looks too much like COD and doesn't look real. The four PS2 games looked much better and seemed more realist and practical to me.
I also hate having to earn weapons and attachments while I play the game. It should be offered at the beginning. I'm sure the real SOCOM Tier 1 Operators don't have to go out on a DA mission with only a pistol because they haven't earned a rifle yet.
Other Thoughts: IT'S THIRD PERSON!!! I own COD Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, but bought them both on Craigslist so the company wouldn't benefit. MW2 is ok and Black Ops totally sucks, but I refuse to purchase games, that are in first person view, brand new. Why can't other manufactures offer these games in both 1st and 3rd person so I don't throw up after 15 minutes of playing them?!
Metal of Honor released last year was the best game because it's based on real world tactics and knowledge. Just wish it was 3rd person, then I would buy it brand new.
Hope the manufactures are listening.
It looks like Zipper Interactive decided to mirror this game after the very popular COD games. I guess that's why it sucks. I wish they would do a refresh of the four games they did for the PS2. They were my favorite games of all time.
This review is from: Medal of Honor Playstation3 Game
Pros: Uses realistic lingo/tactics from SOCOM Special Ops training, and is based on Operation Anaconda which took place beginning March 1st, 2002. This is why I loved this game so much. It's realistic from that standpoint, not just someone running around shooting people.
Cons: Too many glitches throughout the game. Had to restart it a few times to get past them. EA could have spend more time working out the bugs.
"Rabbit" who I assume is Navy Petty Officer First Class Neil C. Roberts (SEAL) dies in the game. His death occurred on March 4th, 2002 when he fell out of a Chinook.
Other Thoughts: Still wish EA, Ubisoft and everyone else would follow Zipper Interactive's lead by creating these games in 3rd person view. First person view makes me a little sick and can only play them for a limited time. This is why I hardly purchase these games new. I made an exception for this one.
The best Squad-based Shooter for 2010!
