Pros: Quiet, and fast drives. Runs cold because it has not moving parts.
Cons: These appear to have random failures and are TERRIBLE for important data. These drives FREEZE UP, and leaves you no recourse to repair it or revive ANY data at all.
Other Thoughts: I purchased 5 of them and used them heavily for the last 7-10 months. Losing the data on a newer drive and losing the paid for OS is VERY frustrating. I have to admit that I lost an OLDER HD with moving parts. This had my back up, and I lost all the data BEFORE I could get my copy. I did NOT expect a newer drive to fail so quickly. I have built well over 1000 computers, and very much an expert in this field.READ FULL REVIEW

This review is from: ASRock EP2C612D8 SSI ATX Server Motherboard Dual Socket LGA 2011 R3
Pros: Clean layout and uses almost all the holes of a ATX / E-ATX case layout.
Compact mid-tower size.
Solid BIOS, and slots for the memory and chip are very nice.
Compatible Motherboard out of the box.
Cons: I had to glue a plastic grommet for one hole to the motherboard.
Not a motherboard for workstation.
Chip#2 vid card slot uses up most of the hard drive slots, and other functional slots on the motherboard. I was able to squeeze in the power switch but nothing else.
Other Thoughts: The video card slots are backwards on this motherboard compared to other motherboards. Used a bigger case to deal with heat.
MUST hook up svga slot to create an initialization process to burn a BMC chip. This will not occur unless you do that. Once you do this, the other video card will work. You will no longer ever need to use a svga monitor again. I own this motherboard.
