Pros: It does the job (I guess) and runs some games on 4K but not all (see cons)
Cons: This card gets extremely poor performance out of AMD FX series processors on newer games. My frames per second cap at 30 on 4K resolution and no amount of overclocking seems to help. I tried upgrading the HDMI cable and expanding my memory but I got very little improvement (if any) from either upgrade. I don't know what else to do to improve performance so I have to assume my processor is to blame.
Other Thoughts: I hate to give the card a bad review because the rest of my computer can't keep up but I'm not satisfied with it at all and if I had known that my processor wasn't going to be able to handle this thing, I wouldn't have bought it because it wasn't worth the money at this point
I have done a ton of research on various forums in relation to this problem aswell and everything I've read has lead me to believe that the problem is with my processor aswell.
Do yourself a favor and make sure you have an Intel I5 or I7 before purchasing or you will regret spending this much money...I know I do.
Pros: Looks cool
Cons: I don't know who tapped the holes for the motherboard stand-off screws but they need to be fired. I tried time and time again to tighten these screws by hand and they would not budge so I tried using a pair of pliers and ended up breaking them off well before they were fully tightened. I've been building computers for years and I've never broken a screw, much less a stand-off screw.
Other Thoughts: There is no excuse for such poor quality in a computer case, I will never buy another Rosewill case again. Not only did I have a problem tightening the stand-off screws but the case I received shows evidence that it's been opened before. It literally looked like someone opened it, then shoved it back in the box the way the styrofoam was on the complete wrong sides of the case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The card runs most games on the highest graphics settings and was a good buy.
Cons: I don't really know if this is an issue with the card, Windows, or just the games I play but some games aren't allowing me to adjust my graphics settings since I installed this card. The games I'm having issues with automatically set my settings on medium to low settings and won't let me adjust the settings and I get an error saying that my graphics settings exceed the memory of the card. I've tried reinstalling the games and graphics driver and it hasn't seemed to help so I take one egg because of this.
Other Thoughts: A friend of mine bought a 4Gb EVGA GTX 970 and he has no problems with adjusting his graphics settings while running the exact same games I'm having issues with so I don't know what's causing the issues I'm having. I've even tried searching google for answers and I can't seem to find anything on this issue.READ FULL REVIEW
