G.Skill 16GB microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (FF-TSDG16GA-C10)
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: na

Cons: Completely dead after using in my Galaxy s3 for less than 1 year. Lost countless files, pictures, videos, etc. Never got around to sending in RMA because of the hassle, & the fact I just popped in an old Samsung Class 2 microsd card (4 yrs old) and that's been working fine, albeit slow...

G.Skill 16GB microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (FF-TSDG16GA-C10)

  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Just arrived and did a quick speed test using CrystalDiskMark

------ Read / Write
Seq: 20.11 - 14.62
512k: 19.84 - 4.434
4k : 3.598 - 0.522
4kqd: 3.602 - 0.486
(by comparison, my old Class 2 was 4.2 mb/s Seq-Write)

Tested quick in my Droid X and noticed videos to be less of better quality than the class 2 card that came with it (appeared to be higher fps, less jittery) . It's final location will be in my shiny new Galaxy S3 so I will update again after a few weeks!

Cons: None so far
