This review is from: MEElectronics 3-Pack Premium Screen Protector for iPod Touch (4th Gen)
Pros: Cyrstal clear cover, reduces finger smudges on screen, finger glides smoother than without and it protects the screen. Installs easily with no bubbles when done properly. Came free in bundle with my 64GB iPod Touch 4 that my wife got me for Christmas. 3 screen protectors in the pack.
Cons: First problem that caused this to loose an egg is because they have an extra hole up at the camera end for no reason. The second, and I suppose to be somewhat fair to the first 3 reviewers, the instructions are insufficient for someone that only has "high" tech knowledge instead of very high. ;) 3 in the pack, honestly I can never get over what is charged for these things and these ones are inexpensive. Should be 10 in the packs of these things. At least these weren't $26 for 2 like the Belkin ones I saw at the shack.
Other Thoughts: I'm almost tempted to make a review video on how to install since apparently for some it's difficult. It's really not that hard but some people just can't do things like this I guess. It's simple. Clean your iPod screen so that it has no residue on it at all. Peel the layer marked with the first tab to expose the adhesive side that attaches it to your iPod screen, get no dirt or fingerprints on it and do not bend the screen at all. This adhesive is very mild so if you bend it then it will never lay flat so make sure you do not bend it! Line up edge of protector with your iPod screen and simply allow to lay on the iPod screen moving from one edge to the other. It virtually seems to suck itself onto your screen with NO BUBBLES. Simple as that. Use the cloth to rub carefully to attache well to screen. Last remove the top protective layer and clean with lint free cloth and you are done. Not hard and you do not remove just the tabs!!!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a correction for others to know about and in particular a response to Robbie who wrote that "HDMI would have been nice" and his inability to use it because of a black border. Robbie you need to learn how to use your hardware and software.
Other Thoughts: In the settings for your AMD/ATI video card you need to set it when using HDMI to not have a border. Please, and so many of you need to learn this, stop giving less than desired reviews to a product because of your failure to understand how to use it. In the ATI control panel there is a setting for border width when using HDMI. If you want to place blame for this then place it with AMD/ATI.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's a WD Black with a 5 year warranty and performs as to be expected. I have had a very low failure rate for WD Blacks as a whole.
Cons: Zero advantage of the WD1002FAEX over the SATAII WD1001FALS. My FAEX benchmarks within the same performance range as comparing two of my FALS. Not really a con though because I didn't expect it to since mechanical drives are already maxed out at the speed of SATA 3.0 Gb/s. This has been verified on 2 SATAIII chipsets and on the Intel ICH10R which outperformed both SATAIII cards with both the FAEX and the FALS.
Other Thoughts: "like a charm" if you put two in a RAID0 (stripe) you'll get a performance rating of 6.2 in Win7. I've had 3 WD Blacks striped in RAID0 get a 6.3. Maybe 4 will get to 6.4, I haven't tested a stripe of more than 3 drives personally. Performance is better measured with other benchmarking software anyway. No single mechanical disk will get a score of more than 5.9 at this point.
Blue Jay, I'm gonna bet you have the SATAII WD1001FALS and not this SATAIII WD1002FAEX if you've had your disk for 4 months. The WD1002FAEX haven't been available that long at this point.
