Pros: Fast, Cheap, RAM
Cons: Might require manual input of timings in to the BIOS to get the 2133MHz speed.
Other Thoughts: This reviews supersedes my previous 1-star review for this RAM from May 23, 2014. Previously the RAM was not able to run @ 2133MHz - the system would only boot on 1333Mhz setting. After a few email exchanges with G.Skill Tech Support I entered the highest possible value for tRFC setting (255). The Ram booted flawlessly and is running dual-channel just over 2133Mhz!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Another Great reliable Corsair release with an over-the top 5-year warranty! I would have given it a 5-star rating if not for the stiff power cables with sharp connectors - see below.
Cons: Cable connections could be better. As it is now some were hard to plug in (especially the graphics card and the MoBo power). The power connector have sharp rectangular corners - which hurt my sausage fingers - LOL.
Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very pleased with this upgrde over my previous 700W PSU. I know I have plenty of Watts available for future upgrades.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great Price and advertised timings...
Cons: I have a GigaByte Z68XP-UD3 and a i7-2600K CPU running stock speeds. Choosing XMP profile 1 or profile 2 results in failed boots. BIOS defaults the RAM timing to 1333Mhz. This is lower than my previous Corsair RAM which ran @ 1600MHz. I'm about to place that back in and return the G.Skill. BTW, I have also tried disabling the XMP and manually setting the clock to 2133Mhz, timings: 9-11-11-31-2n and 1.6V as specified on the G.Skill website. System still fails to boot at those settings.READ FULL REVIEW
