Pros: The ethernet part works fine.
Cons: Got it to keep up with a faster internet connection.
Very inconsistent performance. The throughput will be fine for a while and then-- well, it isn't. It's like an old person about to doze off who suddenly wakes up again. The reason I know the ethernet works well is I keep hooking it up to make sure it's the radio and not my internet connection.
Other Thoughts: Will try a newer adapter but it's close to RMA time.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 1.0" Black 8GB MP3 Player SDMX18-008
Pros: This is one handy device; great design generally, not just for an mp3 player.
Cons: Hard to read sometimes. Try Rockbox for bigger fonts, etc.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SCEPTRE Sceptre 40" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV X402BV-FHD
Pros: A ton of people have purchased the predecessor X405BV and it received good reviews, so I thought I'd try this one to use as a gaming monitor. I also was able to get this when it was @ $299, and so far I'm happy with it. I used the calibration app w/in Win7 and only had to make a few tweaks.
The picture is solid and so far I've played UT3 Warfare (pew pew) and FSX and the picture with these is good, with no motion effects.
No dead or stuck pixels.
Cons: Mounting onto the stand was a PITA, and all four HDMI connectors are on one side. That's what knocked the rating down to a 4 of 5.
As far as monitor use goes, one may need to be careful about the text, but lowering the sharpness a bit, as well as using the Win7 ClearType calibrator, solved any problem there.
Other Thoughts: My box was tashed as well.READ FULL REVIEW
