This review is from: Team X101 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Silver) Model TX101364GS01
Pros: Aluminum, slim but still won't fit alongside occupied USB port. Has lanyard loop. Red LED visible through smoked lanyard loop.
Previous Team X101 worked as a bootable USB drive to troubleshoot Mac products.
Cons: Having issue compared to previous Team X101 in blue (Newegg not stock this or other 64GB)
This will mount on later model Macbookpro/iMac but will not boot. GUID formatted, partitioned. Installed OS, utility drive. Older blue X101 works but not this later, silver model (different p/n). System profiler shows different vendor IDs. Confirmed 4 of these we bought in April do not boot 2012 or later Apple products. Have emailed TEAM in Taiwan but... now need to find bootable 64GB USB3.0.
Other Thoughts: Felt the previous 64GB TEAM X101 was fine. But something changed with this one. It will mount, but not boot Apple on USB 3.0 ports.
Update: something is with this drive's chipset. Compared to previous 64GB TEAM X101 in blue, all 4 Silver do the same thing.
Any suggest a USB 3.0 that boots a Mac with USB 3.0 in 64gb that isn't wide, fat, rubber or fugly looking? Thanks.
This review is from: WD Se WD4000F9YZ 4TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Datacenter Capacity HDD
Fast and seems ok so far.
It is inside a new Apple Time Capsule. Don't ask.
Cons: None so far. Likely drop in price after I write this...
Other Thoughts: FYI, I bought a 2TB Airport Extreme Time Capsule last month. I bought this to install, and after a day of a zero'd format, I took Time Capsule apart and after some clever xacto knife work to the Apple silicone, I fit the 4TB inside the tallish router-backup. Now TimeMachine uses it daily.
You can hear it "muted" but I know when it is running. 24/7. Since Apple doesn't offer a 4TB model yet... I suspect it was not a financial plus...
This review is from: Sharp R-1874 1.1 cu. ft. 850W Over-The-Range Microwave
Pros: Fits where old Sharp was over the range.
Next home owner should enjoy it.
Haven't tried Convection yet.
Cons: No filter included. It was in the 13yr old model it replaced. It is now an accessory! RK-220.
Still uses an incandescent rather than LED bulb! Really.
PITA to install. Previous had mount you can, as one person, install on, slide back then bolt. This one, Sharp metal backplate, different hole mounts, and no hooks. I dented it installing it. Silly instructions want you to cut the box up like some MacGyver. Less wattage 850 vs 1000. Takes longer to get used to previous settings. Oh, Clear button seems smaller and not logically placed. But that is design.
Other Thoughts: I guess I had expectations from previous year 1999 Sharp Carousel that was flawless. I opted for stainless but funny, prints and food are too obvious. Disappointed no charcoal filter (I don't vent out). Part is about $14 w/sh on net (more or less).
Otherwise, its a microwave/convection oven that is over my range.
