This review is from: Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: Got this case back in 2/2009 and it's by far the best computer case I've ever bought! The case is big and roomy (you could hide a dead body in this thing) and it can fit even the largest video cards.
The fans in this case really move air and none of them have crapped out yet after 4++ years of near continuous usage. The only time the computer ever overheats is because the fan filters are clogged!
The fan filters do an amazing job keeping 90% of the dust out of the case and cleaning them takes about 10 minutes of your time.
This case is well constructed and made out of thick steel. It will very likely outlive me.
Cons: Fans are loud. The cost of the case doubled since when I bought it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Black Steel ATX Full Tower Unbeatable Gaming Case
Pros: I bought this case back in 2009 and it has been one of the best computer cases I have ever purchased!
It comes with 3 front fans, 2 rear, and 1 giant one on the top and this thing moves air! I've used it with 1st gen i7 and i5 2500k rig w/ a 6950 HD and everything runs nice and cool! The only time the computer ever freezes up from overheating is because it's time to clean the fan filters out!
The fan filters are my favorite feature. My apartment is dusty and I have to clean the fan filters once every two months, but they do an amazing job at keeping the dust out from inside. Taking them out, cleaning them, and putting them back in takes about 10 minutes.
The case is made out of heavy duty case and will probably out live me!
I will be using this case until I find something better!
Cons: It's heavy -- weighs almost 40 lbs. The fans are noisy, but you get used to it. It's big, but that's not a bad thing!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: Bought this back in 09 for my 1st gen i7 system and it kept the CPU nice and cool!
Replaced the motherboard + processor in 2011 for a i5 2500k and swapped the mount. I have the i5 overclocked @ 4 ghz and have never had my CPU overheat, EVER! It still works, but I'm thinking of replacing it soon because I'm afraid it'll die on from old age, but no hints yet!
Cons: it isn't dead yet!READ FULL REVIEW
