Slow spin up time
Pros: Cheap for the size.
Cons: Slow spin up time. I always put my computer to sleep, and with this hdd I have to wait 7-10 seconds instead or 1 second to wake up from sleep (I own a Caviar Black 640 also). If I could turn back time, I would take the WD green 2tb, it was same price a while, now it's not anymore.
Overall Review: I've been owning it for 1month and 1 day. To tell you the truth I wanted to buy this because I heard good things about Samsung and I wanted to own one. I always owned WD, and I said to experience something else, the only think I don't like is the spin up time.
Happy when working and the fans don't suddenly scare me...
Pros: Seems to have good performance for the money
Cons: I get from time to time blank screens of different color and i have to put the computer to sleep and wake it up to be able to work again. You don't hear the fans but then suddenly you hear them at very high speed, like a vacuum cleaner...
Overall Review: I had the card on a different computer (since I have 2 desktop pcs) and them moved it to the other one since I said the hardware is not compatible, also one computer has win 10 and the other one has win 7, so obviously is the card and not something else. Those fans should slowly increase speed and not so brutal, and noisy...
Cute, but too bad power button broke
Pros: Quiet and looks nice.
Cons: The power button broke, after some thinking i connected the reset button to power cable and it worked, but then i didn't have any reset button anymore.
Overall Review: Antec said will send me a button, but they didn't, i asked after a while if there is any update, but I was ignored....
Just ok
Pros: Looks nice.
Cons: Noisy fans, thin case, not sound proof (looks the opposite to me), you can hear everything from inside the case because of the mesh design, no rubber on mounting holes for hdd.
Overall Review: I don't understand why is this product rated so high? I changed an old Antec which you barely could hear it's working, this antec 300 with all fans at minimum speed, you can hear them, would have been nice to have front panel controls for speeds. The mesh design let's you hear the hard-drives loudly, also there is no rubber on the mounting holes for hard-drives which makes the noise of hard-drives to be transmitted though the case's frame. No 3.5" adapter, I can't use my sd card reader anymore, have to buy another one for 5.25" format. I'm really not impressed, I would have expected more from Antec.
Buzzing noise
Pros: It prints, no need to change the cartridge too often. You can copy easily. It's pretty fast.
Cons: There's a buzzing noise from the electric transformer, I could hear it 2nd day in the morning, pretty load, I said it's too much hassle to return the printer, wasted time, money, eventually a bad record at newegg, so I'm keeping it, that's it. It's not color, the cartridge is somewhere around $75 (expensive).
Overall Review: I got this printer because I got tired of printing few pages before buying new cartridges.
Upgraded from Agility, a little disapointed
Pros: Faster then a HDD.
Cons: Coming from HDD it's wow, coming from Agility is not so much wow. After cloning my agility 1 to vertex 2, it looked slower. I didn't see any 50000 iops in my tests, not even close. Hd tune 3.5 shows 10k iops compared with 7k iops for agility for 4kbytes read when measuring random access. And my agility is not aligned and my vetex2 is.
Overall Review: I secure erased the SSD, it has the partition aligned, ahci mode, installed win7 x64. I did what OCZ said on the forum. Knowing that there is a Vertex which is better then Agility, and now there's a Vertex 2, I expected much more. Really disappointed. The ATTO benchmark shows vertex2 as faster. The Hd tune 3.5 shows it reads with 150mb/s where data, and the agility reads with 200mb/s. This would mean I windows will start 25% slower. Sure, the write speeds are better, but windows will load slower. Not sure what's the problem here but I don't like it.
