Pros: mSATA saves space and reduces cable clutter
Cons: Used as OS drive, failed to be recognized when waking from sleep from day one, even with proper "Never sleep" power settings applied and the latest firmware "MU03," finally failed after 58 days.
Other Thoughts: I don't know if I just got a bad one, or if the cheap price indicates some deeper quality issue. If Crucial makes good on their replacement warranty, I will probably sell the new replacement and switch to something different.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Compact design, backlit keyboard.
Cons: Trackball is a piece of junk! For what they get for this unit, a minimally useful trackball is not too much to ask. It's just too small and too slippery to actually work. Who wants to moisten their digit to get this thing to work? A larger, rubberized ball might make all the difference. We've moved this unit to a less used machine and added a wireless mouse to make it useable.
Other Thoughts: We haven't found a useful, quality HTPC keyboard yet, even after buying three different kinds. These segment of the the computer peripheral business is simply pathetic.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SUPERMICRO SNK-P0034AP4 CPU Heatsink & Cooling Fan for Xeon Processor 5000 Series
Pros: Very efficient cooling solution, can be very quiet if the mobo has fan speed controls.
Cons: Large, must check area above heat sinks to ensure no obstructions.
Other Thoughts: These heatsinks will work with any ATX or EATX case using Supermicro dual CPU mobos by using Supermicro part #SKT-0159L, which acts as an interface between the standard ATX mounting holes and the somewhat unusual 771 heatsink mounting system.READ FULL REVIEW
