This review is from: ASUS STRIX TACTIC PRO Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown Switches
Pros: Beautiful Cherry MX switches
Soft amber glow
More macro keys than I can think to use (three beneath the space bar, which is an awesome location IMO)
Cons: Software is a unintuitive
No palm rest
Other Thoughts: If, like me, you like to use macro keys to launch custom playlists with VLC player, winamp, etc, you will be disappointed. The Strix software only launches executables, and won't recognize playlist files.
You'll have to set up a batch file to run them.
Pros: So far... not bad. Left, right, and wheel click are satisfying and responsive. Scroll is accurate, and registers way better than my last mouse. This optical is so sensitive that I had to buy a new mousepad. Mouse feels really good in your hand, and the weight is ok. Angled and braided cable feel really sturdy.
Cons: The thumb buttons feel a little clustered, for the size of the mouse. When button 6 (DPI throttler) is stock configured, it doesn't always register or know the difference between toggle and momentary.
The software is a monster, and Gaben help you if you delete a profile before saving the one you're already editing. This configured all the buttons on the mouse to right-click.
Other Thoughts: For all its faults, I only removed one star. It is a pretty decent entry level gaming mouse.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Adjustable 2400DPI 6 Buttons Optical USB Wired Gaming Game Mouse LED for PC Laptop
Pros: It's a cheap and very functional mouse that I bought for my girlfriend.
My Pro's: Works out of the box with generic drivers; haven't gone searching for software yet (if any). Glides smoothly across surfaces, and optical sensor is pleasingly responsive. Feels solid. Buttons have a satisfying click.
Her Pro's: She likes the pretty colors.
Cons: None so far.READ FULL REVIEW
