D-Link Wireless N Range Extender (DAP-1360) Extender, Access Point, Bridge

1 out of 5 eggs You will regret buying this product 07/01/2013

This review is from: D-Link Wireless N Range Extender (DAP-1360) Extender, Access Point, Bridge

Pros: None

Cons: 1) Web interface crashes or times-out every other click which makes configuration a nightmare
2) Can't retain a connection
3) Doesn't work even when configured

Other Thoughts: Even one egg is too generous. I tried and failed to set it up as a range extender for my dlink DIR-655. It can't hold a connection even when parked practically next to the router (signal strength as measured by the dir-655 UI is > 85% for the short intervals it stays connected). Search the web and you'll find that other people have had the same problem. I have at least a dozen devices (wireless and wired) on my network and I know what I'm doing; it's the device.

1 out of 5 eggs Screws don't match 07/26/2012

This review is from: SUNON KDE1204PKVX 40mm Case cooler

Pros: It was a nice day today.

Cons: It's unusable as shipped. The screws are MASSIVE. They're too fat to fit through a standard size fan mount hole in the back of the case and even too fat to screw into the fan itself without jeopardizing the integrity of the frame -- two turns and it felt like it was about to shatter. Didn't anyone think to try to see if the screws actually fit the fan even!?

This review is from: Vantec Thermoflow 60mm Double Ball BearingTemperature Controlled Case Fan - Model TF6025

Pros: At least one worked.

Cons: Batting .500 is great in baseball. Not so much if you're an electronics producer.
