Pros: Cheap, cheap and CHEAP. My rig is a music studio rig - not intended for gaming but I do a little gaming on it from time to time. I was using my APU for gaming which got the job done but I wanted a little more "umph" but not spend a lot of cash. This puppy did the trick. 60+ fps on ESO at high video settings. Ultra drops it to 30's but I was happy with high settings. APU ran 20 and under on medium settings.
Cons: I cant find a single problem with the card. Install was smooth because my APU also used catalyst drivers. Seemless transition.
Other Thoughts: I got mine at Tiger Direct because there is a local store where Im at and it was on sale - less than NewEgg with shipping cost.
Great card for the price point if you arent a heavy gamer and fragger. Beats an APU hands down and its quiet! I use a coolermaster water cooler for my CPU and at full load, I cant hear the card fan over my water cooler fan. Bottom line - "just do it - get it"
This review is from: PLANTRONICS Marque M155 Black Bluetooth Headset
Pros: Shipping was EXTREMELY fast for eggsaver (free shipping). Was on sale.
Cons: Just like any other BT earpiece out there. Died within 2 weeks. Warranty expired only 2 weeks after owning it.
Other Thoughts: Ive never had luck with any bluetooth headset - even higher end ones. Either hardware failures or never fit well or no one could understand me when I would talk thru it. I quit buying them. After a few years I figured the tech got better on them. I saw it on sale and read the reviews. High percentage of great reviews. I got it. Initially it worked great. Fit well. People could understand me. I thought this was the one for me. Within 2 weeks it dies out of nowhere. No power no nada. I try and RMA thru newegg and it says its warranty is already expired but can still get a replacement for $10 shipping. I dont think so. I went to Plantronics. They rejected it because my receipt doesnt match my purchase date and its clearly stamped on the receipt. So it looks like I will go back to never owning a BT head set ever again. Dont buy this one.
Nice one, NewEgg. Thats why it went on sale, right? Manufacturer warranty was about to expire so you had to dump 'em fast. This will make me think twice before buying items you put on sale.....
This review is from: Obihai OBi202 VoIP Phone Adapter with Router – Google Voice, SIP & T.38 Fax Support
Pros: Right out of the box it works immediately with any other Obi owner. Registered with Google Voice. Way too easy setup. I was looking to replace Vonage but their ATA is proprietary and wont work with Vonage if you cancel your account. Ive never had a problem with Vonage in 7 years however, the Linksys ATA is on the blink and I have to constantly reboot it to get my phone service back. A replacement ATA is $100+ and I really didnt want to shell out that kind of cash for another ATA. I bound GV to my Vonage number then powered off the Vonage ATA. Went straight to the Obi and worked like a champ!
Cons: no 911 service but thats not a fault. I cant find any other cons for this unit
Other Thoughts: Im not using this to ditch Vonage - rather as a cheaper replacement for their ATA and continue Vonage service. If I go with another VOIP service like VoipJumper, etc, I have to bind my mobile to them to get a number but my mobile is already bound to a separate GV account so I cant. If you have a mobile and want to replace your existing home phone service or even dont have any home phone service at all, this is a cheaper (almost free) way to go. You know you want it - GET IT NOW!READ FULL REVIEW
