Pros: -quad core(1.7ghz)
-reasonably decent DPI for a resolution of 1920X1200
-will properly root.
-Battery life was reasonable, 6+ hours gaming, watching videos.
-Both camera's work, slightly noticeable sound while it tries to refocus but not a prob for most people.
-2GB ram? wish more tab's came with this much.
-11GB user storage+ SD card slot for more space
-IR blaster worked like it should.
Cons: -LG's software (switched to CM11 instead)
-Likely prone to breaking, more padding internally could help.
-Didn't have a camera flash, wasn't expecting one though.
-No extensive testing on using SD card for apps, doesn't seem to want to let you.
-speaker placement, how about front facing speakers LG? (one of the reasons for poor sound quality IMO)
Other Thoughts: Given it's small drawbacks here and there, this tablet has held up fairly well to my everyday use. I'd recommend anyone getting this also get a cover for it, i may be resistant to scratches somewhat, but it's not immune to them. also, microfiber cloth works well to keep fingerprints off of it.
a decent tablet, held up well to the abuse it's been through. a bit expensive perhaps?
Pros: worked at the ratings that were printed on them, and wasn't DOA... low voltage was a bonus.
Cons: only 5 months of use, and already dead.... worked decently up until that point, but then BSOD and now wont boot.
Other Thoughts: confirmed it's the ram and not some other component by switching them out for the ram the laptop had. will be stuck with 1 stick till next week.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: When they're working like they're supposed to this drive performs well, surprisingly so... worthy upgrade for anyone who's willing to tempt fate and get a drive larger then 2TB. Sustained transfer rate on this particular drive averaged 167MB/s while transferring files above 40MB. Any smaller then that and you will see a noticeable drop in speed.
Cons: well, i ordered two of these and have already had one showing uncorrectable sectors within the first 24 hours of use. glad that i ordered two however, as the extra was supposed to be for backups.
Other Thoughts: Seagate drives, personally have been like a bumpy road for me... some have worked well, others haven't. may have to switch to WD if this trend keeps up, longer warranty from them is quite enticing too, just wish they were a little less expensive.READ FULL REVIEW
