This review is from: Crucial M4 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT256M4SSD2
Pros: I am using the Crucial M4 256GB SSD and the computer daily over a month. No single problem appeared on P8Z68-V Pro motherboard. I do sleep, hibernate, power off as needed. No BSOD. I have not overclocked. I plugged SSD in Intel USB3 port. Win7 64-bit is very fast. I do not see a need for faster SSD unless I edit long movies. I erased SSD before win7 installation and verified that win7 aligned the SSD correctly. Sending browsers cache to regular platter disk slowed Firefox down. I think that changing temporary file locations to outside of SSD is not useful. Your system will slow down. Do regular backups!

This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
Pros: New aero features are awesome.
Cons: Microsoft web site compares various windows 7 versions (Home, Professional, Ultimate). The comparison chart fails to disclose differences between bundled Media Windows Player. The different version is shipped in each win7 version. Windows Media Player in my Win7 Professional could not played many DVDs because of missing codecs. Those codecs are not free. I could get them by upgrading to win7 ultimate. I am not sure if home win7 version have them.
Acronis True Image 2012 makes some USB flash drives not detected by win7 (search their forums and see their support site for knowledge base #26062 - it does not fix the current build.) I had this problem on ASUS P8Z68-V Pro motherboard. If you have old Acronis version 11, use it. It works just fine.
This review is from: NETGEAR GA311 Gigabit Adapter 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45
Pros: Replaced my motherboard integrated LAN when Intel LAN broke in Dell XPS machine several years ago. I run wired 100Mbps network to Netgear N-150 router. No problems once you install drivers correctly. I have it in PCI slot version 2.3. I have used the adapter for several years. It works so well, so I have forgot about it.
