5 out of 5 eggs OC to 4Ghz with liquid cooling.. 08/30/2006

This review is from: Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield Dual-Core 2.66GHz LGA 775 95W Processor BX80551PE2666FN

Pros: Used the MB listed below to overclock this CPU. With vcore set to 1.6v, I was able to OC to 4.ghz with no issue during stress test.

Cons: none. or I haven't encountered one yet.
Side note: the MB below only has at most 1.6v Vcore setting.. which I think it's the reason why I can't go beyond 4Ghz... but if money isn't a concern go with Asus P5WD2-E Premium. That board offer higher Vcore options.

Other Thoughts: parts I used:
MB: Asus P5ND2-SLI
CPU : Intel Pentium D 805
RAM : Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model PDC22G5300LLK - Retail
Power Supply : Thermaltake W0101RU ATX 12V 2.0 Version 550W
Video: SAPPHIRE 100106L Radeon X850XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
CASE & Cooling : TT case and TT bigwater 735
