This review is from: EVGA GeForce 6200 DirectX 9 512-A8-N403-LR 512MB 64-Bit GDDR2 AGP 8X Video Card
Pros: Fit into slot
Cons: Software disk included is only up to Vista. Loading in old Dell Dimension 4600 with 32 bit Windows 7. Using default drivers gives BSOD. Downloading EVGA site drivers gives BSOD. Worked in VGA in safe mode only so installed correctly and operational, software is likely the reason. My old video card works but it sounds like hamsters on a wheel. This review is from: SAMSUNG 840 EVO 2.5" 1TB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7TE1T0BW
Pros: Finally SSD are getting to size that we can have them for a solo disk on a computer. Very quick, silent. Some neat software which can allow RAM disks if you have tons of memory - nothing like seeing > 4000 mb/sec rates. Transfers of files easily saturate my GB NIC while using < 5% processor, amazing.
Cons: Ever since I installed the software from Samsung I can no longer use Microsoft backup software as it fails to use VSS (shadow copy) in Windows 7 pro. I can't find this on any forums. I have it turned on in services. My backup locks at 7% complete. Some of the files are large > 150 GB
Other Thoughts: I am so happy SSD are finally at point were I don't need to buy them in piles then put them into a RAID to get useful size and speed. In long run this is cheaper for me. I have these running on a couple of computers. VSS issues seen on all of these. I don't have issues with other HDD and and other branded SSD so this is unique problem to Samsung disked computers only. I am backing up to FreeNAS based unit over CIFS but it also fails over backup to iSCSI based disk. I can easily and quickly manually backup the files essential but I would love to have it automated as before.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Wonderful tactile and auditory feedback with just the perfect amount of resistance. I feel like I am typing twice as fast as my baseline. The angle of the keyboard is excellent with the "ruler" base installed. Having audio adjustment easily found without taking eye off screen. I also like the mute key right next to the wheel which can also be found easily without taking eyes off screen if the phone rings. It is nice a heavy and this helps resist the tendency for my other keyboards to slide around. I had to put my last keyboard on a rubberized tablemat to keep it in one place. Lastly I love having USB 3.0 slots on my desktop. My monitor provided 2.0 but this clearly faster.
Cons: I really need a wrist support or I get my carpal tunnel flaring. I ended up needing to get some nice gel supports. This keyboard seems expensive for what I am getting but I have been disappointed in nearly any other keyboard I have. This one I like. Problem is now I want one for home too.
If you type part of your day on a laptop then switch to this you will hate your cheap dinky laptop to the point you find yourself avoiding it which might make you less productive. I say this only semi-joking.
Other Thoughts: They may be "brown" switches but they are still a little heavy on the click feedback. Yes it provides feedback but people around you might hate just how fast you are typing.READ FULL REVIEW
