Pros: Inexpensive and a 15" screen with windows 10 so it was worth the try. Thats about it
Cons: Where to start? First it locks up a lot. Just sits with the loading cursor spinning. It drops the signal often just like one of my last Lenovo's. Don't know why this happens? When I trouble shoot the fix it display's "windows wireless is not working" Drives me crazy while in the middle of searching for something.
The keybord is terrible, I hate it. Some keys will double or not work. Kinda hard to explain. I type a lot and I can't do one sentence without an error. I'm going back to a Dell. Also if you pause the cursor will go back to where you started and you will have a jumbled mess. Very frustrating. I really hate this laptop.
Other Thoughts: Paid for 3 day shipping and it took 7 so save your money. Now I wish I could sell it and get some of my money back.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Changhong 49" Class 1080p LED HDTV - LED49YD1100UA
Pros: 2nd edit: New Egg came through! Sent me a RMA that I printed and shipped broke unit back. Save you box and other stuff! Made things go real smooth.
Edited: Well as you can see below I bought it because of the cost, maybe that wasn't such a great idea.
Cost !!! Bought both of these with two mounts and four hdmi cables for $625 on the big new years day sale. Could not pass it up! Much better than what was there before. They work, sound is OK. I'm not too picky. If it keeps working for years I will be very happy.
Cons: 2nd edit: OK, have been using this for about forty days now and I have come to the conclusion that the picture with these is just not as good as say a Samsung of the same technology. Kind of fuzzy. Speakers are inferior too. No deep sounds. But the price is sooooo tempting!!
Edited: As you can see below my biggest gripe was the mounting ergonomics. Since then I have had one screen fail in the first 20 days. Yup half the screen is fuzzy and bouncy and unwatchable. $300 for twenty days of usage? I have heard Changhong's customer service is terrible and non responsive so if New Egg does not step up I'm out all of my money. Maybe file something with my credit card provider?
Mounting!! Both sets of mounting holes are close to the middle of the tv. It would be more stable if they were further apart. They are also counter-sunk so with a wall mount you will need different bolts if they don't come with a mount.
Buttons!! I also own a 32" changhong and it has power, volume, and channel buttons on the bottom of the unit. Not with this unit. If you don't have the remote you can't anything. Can't push the power button as you walk out. Not a big deal I guess
Other Thoughts: I don't think I would buy another one of these. Too many people have had units that fail and what about the others that have had problems and not written a review. What I did do is buy a 1 year extended warranty which is something that I usually don't do. Insurance?
Edited: Well I thought I would get a few years out of it, not twenty days! I've contacted new egg and they asked me to take pictures and send them. I hope this goes quickly and does not cost me anything. Meanwhile,,,waiting. I will update.
For $300 its well worth the risk. Even after buying a top end unit you can have problems. If you have a problem with this its not such a loss.
This review is from: Rosewill RHTB-14005 - 32" - 70" LCD LED TV Tilt Wall Mount - Max. Load 99 lbs. Television, VESA Up to 600x400mm, Black, compatible with Samsung, Vizio, Sony, Panasonic, LG and Toshiba TV
Pros: Seems strong. Package is loaded with lots of different size mounting hardware for different tv's. Bolts, washers, and anchors for just about any mounting surface.
Cons: Terrible instructions. The assembled picture here on new-egg is more helpful.
Other Thoughts: I got this in a package deal with cables and the tv so each mount probably cost about $9, Not sure what it really sells for. Its a good mount.READ FULL REVIEW
