This review is from: Noctua Anti-Stall Knobs Design,SSO2 Bearing 120mm, PWM Case Cooling Fan NF-S12A
Pros: Quiet, seems to be well made, lots of cables to fit any type case/mobo configuration, long warranty, easy to install even with mobo, pwr supply, etc. installed. It came with (2) types of mounting methods. Very nice
Other Thoughts: I had a space for a case fan, and decided to use it. With so many fans to choice from, I went with a manufacture that had a long MTBF, and what seems like a good reputation. I would have selected Phanteks brand, as I have the Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD 140mm UFB for my CPU currently, and that works very well. Newegg didn't have any 120mmx25x25 at that time. This case fan is priced higher then some similar fans of same size, but I'm happy with my purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Thermaltake SOPRANO VO900M1N2N Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: I like the look of the case, and it's quiet . Putting the system together was pretty easy. Big Intake fan, with std size exhaust. It also has room for another intake fan in the bottom.
Cons: I wish the front door opened to the left instead of the right. Not a deal breaker though.
Other Thoughts: I had an Intel I7-3770K chip, and I happened upon a Maximum PC a month or so ago building up a system using a Haswell chip. I copied their build by and large, Same case, a gigabyte board they mentioned and recommended as being relable, similar to the one they used for their Haswell build, but a LGA1155 Mobo. So, same case, pwr supply, and CPU cooling fan/heat sink they used. Since I was an utter novice, I figured if the Mobo, PSU, and the CPU heat sink/fan comb fit and worked, it would be less stuff I'd have to worry about. I didn't follow their build exactly, but the 3 main pieces of my build fit and work great so far. I also put in a new SSD, just not the one they used. I'm pleased with all the equipment, and how well it works.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Seems to be a high quality power supply. My system has little need of a 750W PSU, but if I add other peripherals, I don't want to come up short. 7 year warranty seems like a solid endorsement.
Other Thoughts: It came packaged in it's own black usable bag! That seemed very classy & different. Plus it had a separate bag to store the cables that aren't being used! Wow! Maybe that stuff doesn't have a thing to do with it's performance, but I really thought it was a nice touch. It spoke of quality, some forsight as far as the cables keeping them in a container where it can be easily stored. I'll buy more of Corsair's stuff as the need arises.READ FULL REVIEW
