Pros: Very small. Very quiet. Very clean.
I used the PC in a church nursery to run an RTSP feed from a camera to a TV in the nursery. It is very quiet. And small enough to mount behind the TV. It comes with a VESA mount for mounting to a monitor if it is using a stand. I just used hook & loop fasteners and it worked great. Does not have heat issues like other tiny PC's. It's been on 24/7 for a couple months and not even a hick-up. Running at 1080p. Win7 pro OEM
Cons: I took off one egg because, after installing memory and 2.5" hardrive, the first thing you need to do is upgrade the motherboard firmware. After that, everything was smooth. I installed win7 pro oem from a bootable thumb drive. It would be easier to just install from a USB DVD-ROM drive.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this for digital signage. This is a solid product. It does run win7 just fine. No problems. After the firmware update. I love this product.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Foxconn D41S Intel Atom D410 Intel NM10 Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo
Pros: Runs Windows 7 64bit pro just fine but like most other review I had to add a fan. I liked the look of the monitoring software that came with this board. Nice simple board. This is would work great in a case that has good cooling.
Cons: This is would work great in a case that has good cooling but not in a case with no fans like I did. Windows 7 would not install until after I installed case fans. Ubuntu would install just fine but was not stable without case fans. CPU Monitoring software out of the box would crash in basic mode.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NORCO RPC-250 Black 2U Rackmount Server Chassis
Pros: Solid Case. Not too deep. Takes just any ATX power supply. Great value case.
Cons: A little difficult to find the power button in a low light situation. Fiddly to take hardrives in and out.
Other Thoughts: Works great for everything I had inside it. I disabled some of the fans to keep the noise down in the Audio Video Rack but it wasn't very noisy as is. You might want to purchase more SATA cables for this as there is tons of room for a raid system.READ FULL REVIEW
