This review is from: Antec GX GX 700 Black and military green ATX Mid Tower Case
Pros: Looks awesome! The O.D. Green, hazard yellow stripes and red button completes my build. Quiet, oh so much quieter than my previous case. Comes with enough fans to stay at operational temps and the built-in filters don't have me worried about a big dust problem. Fairly intuitive to build. Cheap.
Cons: Material is flimsy, way too easy to accidently bend, especially near knock outs on the back. Luckily for me, this is for a server, in the closet and out of the way, otherwise I'd send it back and stay with my steel Antec from 2000. Instructions may as well not exist. I still don't know how to hook up the adjustable fan and can't find instructions on Antec site or on the paper that came with it. With a ASRock 970 Extreme3 and Antec power supply, the power cables almost don't make it. The case USB cable is too short to reach the right place and utilize the cable management. I'd kind of like a clear plastic side to show off what I've got, but I think they'd make it too thin judging by the rest of the case.
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, but I'd rather pay a little more for a bit more quality. This case has so much potential...if it was thought through a little better, had stronger materials, and decent instructions for the not so easy stuff to just look at to figure out. This is not a case for the first time builder, to many things to work around.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NETGEAR AC1750 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Router (R6300 v1)
Pros: Coverage of the NetGear now accomplishing what two Linksys (E3000 and E6200) were covering. Beam forming seems to be doing it's job.
Cons: DD-WRT doesn't seem to have support for this WRT as the Newegg title suggests. That's one of the biggest reasons I chose this particular device. The stock firmware seems to be accomplishing most of what I wanted to do, but I would like the advanced features that DD-WRT supports: VLAN support, wireless power adjustment, etc.
Other Thoughts: For the average user, this is a great wireless router. I'm in a 2,000 sq ft 2 floor house and it's doing the job well. I run some local services (think Netflix on a small scale at your own house) and the device seems to be keeping up just fine.READ FULL REVIEW
