This review is from: Antec GX GX 700 Black and military green ATX Mid Tower Case
Pros: Looks pretty authentic (doesn't feel like it though). All the stuff you need to get to on a regular basis is very accessible. I was even able to mount a water cooling system. HDD fans are a plus to keep air moving in the case. The fan switch on top is a nice touch for quite and performance operation "modes". The built-in air filters and top twin 140mm fan mounts are a plus also.
Cons: I wish the side fan mount was bigger. I'd like to mount a giant case fan and show off the hydro work and a bit more quiet airflow. Although the case is already a bit flimsy especially when nothing is mounted. Although there are 4 5.25" bays, you'll only be able to use 2, maybe 3 since the top mounted USB, audio and switch take some space, but it's a good trade off in my opinion.
Other Thoughts: Bottom Line: I would buy this case again. Overall, I'm satisfied with this case and what I paid for it. I dock an egg for the flimsiness I would have liked to see a water-cooled solution made for this case rather than having to engineer one that doesn't look like it's meant to be there, so I dock a second egg, but give one back for the top mount access and top mount double 140mm fan slots. The most awkward part was the pump/res mounting on the back. Perhaps the reduced space up front could be used as a good front mount location for the pump and reservoir. It could be used across the Antec brand...just a thought. I'm using this for a home lab server, so when running multiple VMs, it gets toasty. If you're into incrementally building and tinkering, I recommend this case. It will leave you with options and choices.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EVGA 100-WC-S201-BR Watercooling Kit for Hadron Hydro
Pros: Good kit for first-timers. Included elbows help a lot. Plenty of tubing. On elbows, metal-to-metal threads catch easily and O-rings seal up nicely with included wrench.
Cons: These fittings are difficult. My fingers still haven't recovered. However, I'm pretty confident there will be no leaks...ever. The pump when secured to my case is a little loud and the pump power lead (3 pin fan) is a little short, but I don't blame the manufacture or newegg since I'm using it in a case it wasn't necessarily intended for.
Other Thoughts: I ended up putting this in a different case than what it was "intended" for, but it all worked out. The included anti-kink spring is a must. After all is said and done, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. My only suggestions are to include some sort of visual flow indicator (or better, a visual with a sensor to hook to 3/4 pin fan lead on MB) and maybe an air bleed/drain/fill valve to keep water away from internals.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Awesome outside case to give your build visual edge. Wrapped cables maintain a professional look. Fan switch is a nice touch also when you want to go from quiet to serious horse power mode.
Cons: Almost at the two year mark and it's making a high pitched, almost whistling noise. I don't know if this is a new thing since I had it in a closet before. I might contact RAIDmax to see if they can fix it.
Other Thoughts: I do have an issue, but I don't know if it's a new thing or if it was from the beginning. I don't really want to replace since I can't find anything now that looks this good. Other than a relatively quiet annoyance, it does it's job well.READ FULL REVIEW
