Pros: Very easy and forgiving to overclock. I bought this to replace for Athlon x4 640 (using the same motherbored) and the improvement is immediately noticeable, game wise I am running 5 to 15 frames higher (using an GTX 760). Keep in mind I have a nice fan and heat sink this processor stays icy cool. I am overclocked to 4.3 Ghz and only running 10-15 C.
This may not have the stats of an Intel I5 3570k however I wouldn't know any different
Cons: As expected the stock cooler is not that nice, especially the thermal pads opposed to the actual paste. I have not used it nonetheless it looks like it would run hot and loud.
Other Thoughts: if you are building from scratch you should get an intel, however if you already have a good mother bored and build than this is the opportune CPU to get.
certainly the best price performance ratio CPU for the next couple months at least
Pros: I bought this computer to use for college and to replace my 5 year old laptop. It has decent 3d rendering capability(i can play ever quest 2 smoothly and a watch a nice skyrim slideshow too. the CPU and mb heat up to 65 C however the outside case stays cool. the fan and hard rive are actually kinda quite too
Cons: the physical construction seams cheap and the 320 gb 5400 rpm hard rive is really slow compared to my 120 gb ssd, unless your plugged in the graphics are pretty sluggish
there is a ton of addware you probably will want to uninstall, the hdd also has several silly partitions on it too
Other Thoughts: I debated on getting a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, however I wanted something light weight with battery life.
if you wanna play crysis or skyrim, you are gonna want a dedicated card, better yet a nice desktop.
This review is from: SilenX EFX-08-12 80mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan
Pros: This fan is quiet and it works. I used to replace the load fan in my power supply and after 2 weeks everything still runs smooth.
Cons: the 12 V power supply connecter attached to the 3 pin connecter is very flimsy and fragile. it was also too tight to fit into my power supply, and one of the pins broke because of this.READ FULL REVIEW
