MSI GeForce GTX 950 DirectX 12 GTX 950 2GD5 OC 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Installed without a hitch, doesn't require much power except a 6-pin, and extremely quiet.

Cons: None as of now.

Other Thoughts: I only grabbed this to do light gaming, MS store games, and for it's primary duty of being the display adapter for the HTPC. If this is what your needing it for then this is your card.

Pros: Threw them in a Lenovo Z51-70 and passed a couple Memtest passes without issues. Running at advertised speed and CL

Cons: Didn't install themselves

Other Thoughts: I've never had a bad set of G.Skill's and will keep coming back for more.

Lenovo Laptop Z51 (80K601CSUS) Intel Core i5 5200U (2.20 GHz) 4 GB Memory 1 TB HDD AMD Radeon R7 M360 15.6

Pros: Searched for weeks and came across this 1080p laptop in my "affordable" price range for my daughter. Both ram dimm slots can be upgraded along with the hard drive. Having dedicated graphics is definitely nice especially for someone playing Sims 4 and Walking Dead episodes. Have all settings turned to high and not a ounce of skipping. The back-light keyboard is very bright and audio on a laptop for the most part doesn't sound this good especially in this price range. It's not a IPS screen but again for the price it looks great and we don't look at it from different angles when we're sitting right in front of it when working. The AC-3160 wireless has not disconnected once and has received the Netflix/Youtube beating without issues. Good amount of USB ports and a quiet DVD burner drive.

Cons: For all the Pros above it does have a few cons. The 1TB drive is nice if you are needing alot of storage but it can be extremely slow especially when you start pounding it with applications. Finally after a couple days I put in a 850 Evo 250GB and it is a whole other beast of a laptop. The battery on a good day will last 4hrs so don't venture far without bringing a power pack and/or charging cable.

Other Thoughts: My daughter is extremely happy with this laptop and even though it does have a couple issues in my eyes I would have no issues recommending this especially if it stays in the $450 price range.
