Targus AMU81USZ Black 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1000 dpi Mouse

2 out of 5 eggs Better mice available in this price range 01/15/2015

This review is from: Targus AMU81USZ Black 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1000 dpi Mouse

Pros: It's a solid mouse. Other mice in this price range often have issues with being too flimsy. I can hold the thing with a firm grip and not feel like I'm going to crush it. It's just weighty enough to be controlled, although it could use a little more weight.

Cons: The sensitivity on this is too high, and prone to jitter. Even lowering the mouse speed and fiddling with the "enhance pointer precision" setting in Windows doesn't alleviate the fact that you can't make precision movements with this mouse.

Other Thoughts: Got it at work as a replacement mouse for my office desktop after the scroll wheel broke. I don't use a mousepad, but didn't have any problems with the previous mouse on the bare desk.

Hyperion Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus 3800mAh Extended Battery + Back Cover (...
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Works for Sprint Galaxy Nexus (toroplus / SPH-L700)
Performed like a charm. Took it on a recent trip, went from full charge to 60% after 6+ hours of taking photos (about 60 a day for what that's worth) and with wifi tethering enabled the whole time. The stock battery couldn't do that, especially not the battery that came with the phone when I got it 2 years ago.

Cons: The back cover isn't a perfect fit - it's very close, but some of the tabs are just off enough to make it not 100% secure. It won't pop off unless you really really rough it up, so don't let this stop you.

Other Thoughts: Didn't try NFC, but haven't had any problems with wifi, cell or GPS radios (other than some ROM-related issues, completely unrelated to the battery and known in advance well before I bought this)
