Pros: Fast card, runs most games maxed over 60fpa average. Only game I played that I had to bring settings down to medium @1080p with some high settings is farcry 4.
Cons: First card came in dead. I launched l4d2 and it crashed within 10 seconds to a black screen. After that, every game crashed pretty much within seconds. Did a rma and new card works fine.
Cannot overvolt card without flashing a modified vbios which sucks cuz the cooler does a good or job keeping the card cool. At stock voltage I can add 135mhz to core and 135mhz to the vram. Temps got to 80c at the highest I ever saw after a hr and a half in farcry 4 wth my computer room door closed and it was very hot in the room,.
Other Thoughts: They call me the neighborhood dope mayne . Yeah nyukka I'm the dope maybe. Crimm, I'm known for blastin and callin shots while keepin 100 grand and keepin u bi*ches hot. I stay on twenty eight, I fh* uck with de baddest h03sREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: runs very cool, overclocks to over 1.2ghz easy. Fastest single gpu around period and seems it will stay that way for a good time
Cons: Not as fast at GTX 690 or CF 7970's
Other Thoughts: I am upgrading from first quadfire hd5970's, then quad sli gtx590's; both watercooled and trust me, sli and crossfire are nowhere I want to visit again anytime soon... both were riddled with problems. I decided to go with my previous top choice; the most powerful single gpu available at the time.. U get max relevant time and no crossfire or SLi issues and trust me.. there are plenty of those.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - FASTEST cpu on the market
- Overclocks well
- Runs VERY cool
- Fully Unlocked
Cons: Price is high, but you pay for the best...
Other Thoughts: I got this cpu to replace my i7 920 @4.15ghz with 2x GTX590 gpu's that were being bottlenecked by my CPU.. frames went up 40-60fps in games such as battlefield bad company 2. Temps on my i7 920 were 70-73c IN GAME while WATERCOOLED and 48-49 idle. This 990x idles in the mid 30's at the same voltage as my OC'd i7 920 (1.375v) and load is mid 50c!. Got it pretty easily to overclock to 4.51ghz core and 3200mhz uncore @ 1.375v (max intel recommended spec for 32nm). This is intel's last cpu maxing out socket 1366 to its best. AMAZING processor!READ FULL REVIEW
