This review is from: Rosewill RH-001 - 2 x 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Multimedia Stereo Headset
Pros: the earphones are pretty good for a $5 headset, and i've bought stuff from rosewill before so I know that the build quality is good. if anything, they should last for a while
Cons: the microphone is not good at all. even after taking off the pop filter everything sounds very muffled and unclear and i have to repeat myself two or three times before they understandREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Sennheiser HD201S 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Around-Ear Hi-fi Headphone
Pros: Extremely durable headphones! Bought a pair about 3 years ago, and other than a slight, almost unnoticable rattle on deep bass sounds, worked perfectly for that amount of time. Sound cancelling works very well; when they're on, the music's the only thing I can hear. Been dropped, had the cords stepped on more times than you can count and they still worked beautifully! Bought a pair of the same brand and type after the old ones gave out!
Cons: Almost none really. Aside from the occasional slight rattle on very, very deep bass notes, and the fact that it only lasted 3 years, I guess.
Other Thoughts: Once you first get them, they might feel a little stiff, but once the earpiece lining and foam padding on the inside top break in, they're comfortable as can be.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap, works if you need a simple headset
Cons: Uncomfortable earpieces, but I use a nicer pair of headphones and wear the earphone part around my neck and just use the microphone portion. More importantly, the bendable part of the microphone broke after about a month and I had to repair it with tape.
Other Thoughts: If you need a really cheap microphone-earphone combo, it works for a bit, but don't expect much elseREAD FULL REVIEW
