Pros: New 500GB hard drive for under $50 with free shipping, can't beat that! Hooked it up and loaded Windows 7 64-bit without a single hitch. Even split the drive into two partitions.
Cons: None so far, hope it lasts!
Other Thoughts: It's unfortunate so many have gotten bad drives, seems it's really hit and miss with this model, this one was a hit for us, again no problems at all so far.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This CPU devours everything I've thrown at it and is super fast. Scores a 7.3 on the Windows index.
Cons: I never thought I'd be giving an AMD CPU anything but a 5 egg review BUT, this one has one major flaw that others have mentioned, the CPU fan is ridiculously loud and people were not exaggerating about this! If you take anything seriously when reading the reviews on this chip it's this, just plan on buying an aftermarket CPU cooler when you purchase it. I'm very surprised AMD shipped these like this, I've bought nothing but AMD for over 13 years now and I've never had to replace a stock heat sink...until now. 0_o What up wif dat?
Other Thoughts: I haven't tried to overclock it yet but I will take it to about 4.5Ghz and see how stable it is once the aftermarket cooler arrives.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Toshiba Q Series HDTS225XZSTA 256GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Really fast obviously, ridiculous disk transfer speeds. Not a single problem loading Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit or Windows 8 64-bit. Boots in under 10 seconds, shuts down in 3. This thing is soooo small and light, it doesn't even weigh 2 ounces!
Cons: No bracket, transfer software, screws, cable, nothing, it's literally a bare drive which isn't a problem for most people, might be for some.
Other Thoughts: So far so good, hope it lasts as long as other Toshiba products. I got this one for $180 with free shipping which is decent for a 256GB SSD but I still wish they were priced more competitively. Seems like they should be cheaper by now.READ FULL REVIEW
