This review is from: AVG Internet Security 2014 - 1 PC - Product Key Card
Pros: Works well. I've been using AVG for a while.
Cons: Installed one in May after purchasing one in April. showed up with 3/31/2015 expiration date. I didn't check the date until today 6/18/14.
Installed another one purchased on 5/29/14, early this morning. it also shows up with 3/31/15 expiration date.
AVG told me they were created on 9/24/13 and supposed to expire on 3/31/15.
How do end users know before buying this?
I am on the Chat with AVG with 2 key cards next to me.
I will update what AVG comes up with.
Other Thoughts: Newegg knows about this?READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: runs very smooth and quiet.
3 different color rings came with each fan.
4-pin PWM connection for extra board controlled fans.
Soft mount on the fan housing seems to work well.
Cons: Although I knew about it before purchase, No LED. If you can't see the rings from outside, what are the colored rings for?
you need to force the mounting screw a little more than needed on other fans.
This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: I've been using Antec cases for the last 4 builds.
tool-less assembly is good.
having a SSD mounting on the bottom.
comes with 120mm on back 140mm on top. long enough wires.
filtered front faceplate.
Cons: power switch and reset switches were labeled incorrectly.
put everything in together last night. push the power button. nothing. Absolutely nothing!
Took PS out and tested fine.
puzzeled a little and took the front panel out (exposing switches and LEDs).
checked all connections at least twice.
Then, I just pushed reset switch. Yes!!
Power and Reset connectors (board side) were labeled opposite!
Not a fault of Antec, but I wish it had a 3-1/2 faceplate. I know this is older model so it only has USB 2.0 ports. To use USB 3.0 port from front, I purchased 3-1/2 size dual USB 3.0 front panel. So far, no luck on mounting it right without face plate.
Antec doesn't have USB 3.0 conversion kit (removing the USB 2.0 ports out)
Compared to Nine Hundred cases that I have this one sure is cheap model. A lot lighter.
It will still do fine since I wanted cheaper overall build.
