Pros: This CPU has been running my home server: Windows Server 2012 with a couple of other OSed on Hyper-V.
The CPU runs cool on 8GB of memory. No overclocking (I don't need it), no high temperatures, and just great response.
I researched Haswell CPU models fairly carefully, looking for a good fit for my home server needs. This came on top considering many aspects including core count, max memory, socket type, no HT, power, graphics, VT.

Pros: I bought these for my home server with Haswell on an AsRock H87M Pro 4 MoBo. The server runs Windows Server 2012, Ubuntu and a Windows 7 both running under Hyper-V on the bare metal Win2K12 server. Great performance. I checked the memory stick temperature; they are not hot at all while memory usage is at 80%
Cons: None so far.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I bought this as a replacement fan I already had. The old fan was fine, but I needed a very silent fan that can be controlled by the MoBo instead of a pre-set speed fan. My AsRock MoBo controls this fan really well, and by making adjustments to the temperature-dependent fan speed control, I reduced the speed coming from my home server significantly.
Great price/performance ratio; I may get another one for an office desktop.
Cons: The stringy connectors feel like they would break during installation, but they held on well. This is not quite a con, but you may want to pay attention while installing so you don't snap these slingy things.READ FULL REVIEW
